We are very proud to share with you all that our students have again done very well in their exams this year. 14 of our senior students took exams, including GCSEs in Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Functional Skills, and Business. This was alongside BTECs in Cooking and NCFE Level 2 certificates in Creative Crafts.
For many, the exam period is a time of significant stress and anxiety, but we were so impressed with how the students embodied such resilience and perseverance. A notable number either met or exceeded expectations and are now either continuing their studies with us or exploring further study at a number of other schools and colleges. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
As always, we are looking to build on this success, working as a whole staff to improve and develop the academic and pastoral outcomes for the children at Heartwood House. Whether it be in traditional, academic qualifications, or in
pursuing vocational experiences, we hope all our students will find their path.
