Let’s be honest – travelling around London can feel a bit scary at first! That’s why students at Heartwood House have been working closely with our staff and the Travel for Life team from Transport for London. Together, they’ve been learning how to travel safely, make greener choices, and build the confidence to get to new places on their own.
Whether it’s understanding road safety, planning a route, or discovering the benefits of walking and public transport, our students are gaining real-world skills that will help them become more independent—and feel good about how they’re getting around!
